New Holistic Travel Guide For Visitors

“Big Island:  Body Mind Spirit" is a new resource that will provide visitors information about holistic services on Hawaii’s Big Island.  Due out in April, the pocket guide is being published and produced by Susanne Sims. Sims is the author of “Healing Vacations in Hawaii” and the founding President of the Hawaii Island Wellness Travel Association.

The guide will list healing accommodations and retreats, wellness services and practitioners, health food stores, ecotours, yoga centers and more.

15,000 copies of the initial Spring-Summer edition will be made available free of charge.  Distribution is planned for the Kona, Hilo and Honolulu airports, through the Big Island Visitors Bureau, HIWTA, concierge desks, vacation rentals, retail locations and at wellness events throughout the year.

The guide will be funded through advertising.  Members of Hawaii Island Wellness Travel Association are eligible for a ten percent discount on rates. A listing starts at just $150 for six months.
